Todd maintains a civil litigation practice with a primary focus on strata disputes, builders’ liens, environmental law, construction defect disputes, and employment law.
Todd’s work includes:
- Representing strata corporations in multi-party defect claims
- Enforcing 2-5-10 new home warranty claims for building envelope, structural, mechanical, and electrical defects
- Representing and advising strata corporations and strata lot owners on a variety of Strata Property Act issues, including bylaw violations, duty of care requirements, and governance matters
- Acting for employers and employees on an array of employment issues, including wrongful dismissal claims and human rights matters
Todd joined Lesperance Mendes as an articling student and has stayed on at the firm as an associate.
Prior to joining Lesperance Mendes, Todd was a practicing professional engineer in the construction and mining industries throughout Western Canada.
