Zoë has a broad litigation practice with a focus on construction, warranty claims, strata governance and property disputes.

Zoë has represented clients BC and Canada-wide and has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia. While an out-of-court resolution is always the goal, including through mediation, arbitration, or alternative dispute resolution, she has extensive trial experience and will do everything necessary to tailor solutions to her clients’ specific needs and to further her clients’ interests.

Zoë’s work includes:

• Representing strata corporations in multi-party construction defect claims
• Enforcing 2-5-10 new home warranty claims involving labor, building envelope, structural, mechanical, and electrical defects
• Representing and advising strata corporations and strata lot owners on a variety of Strata Property Act issues
• Representing corporations or individuals in construction claims and Strata Property Act disputes

Prior to joining Lesperance Mendes, Zoë worked at a boutique litigation firm based in Vancouver with additional offices on Vancouver Island, and at a full-service firm in Victoria. In the past, Zoë has had a diverse legal practice, including civil and commercial litigation, sexual assault and assault litigation, estate litigation, and personal injury litigation.
